2025 Launch Giveaway — Official Rules

1. Sponsor

This giveaway is sponsored by Daniel Blough, author of Emma, Polar Bear (Instagram: @author_daniel_blough).

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, you agree to release Instagram from any responsibility.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Entrants must have a public or viewable Instagram profile.
  • Employees, immediate family, and affiliates of Daniel Blough are not eligible.

3. How to Enter

To enter:

  1. Follow @author_daniel_blough on Instagram.
  2. Comment the word “Emma” on the official giveaway post.

Limit one entry per person. Multiple comments do not increase chances of winning.

4. Entry Period

The giveaway begins on July 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM CT and ends on July 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM CT.

Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

5. Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a signed copy of Emma, Polar Bear.
  • Approximate retail value (ARV): $17.99 USD.
  • Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.

Prize Delivery

The signed copy of Emma, Polar Bear will be shipped to the winner on or after the official book release date.

The release date is currently to be determined and will be announced on the author’s website and social media pages.

By entering, participants acknowledge that prize delivery may be delayed until that date and agree to provide a valid U.S. mailing address when contacted.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries within 72 hours of giveaway closing.
  • Winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize.
  • If no response is received, a new winner will be selected.

7. General Conditions

  • By entering, you confirm you meet eligibility requirements and agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
  • By entering, you release Instagram and Daniel Blough from all liability related to this giveaway.
  • Entrants must not inaccurately tag or encourage others to do so.
  • This promotion is administered solely by Daniel Blough at his own risk and expense.

8. Privacy

Any personal data collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the giveaway and sending the prize. No data will be sold or shared.
