Daniel Blough's work celebrates imagination, creativity, and the wonder of childhood.  He crafts stories that blend humor and heart for young readers, often transforming ordinary everyday moments into extraordinary adventures.  

His debut book, Sincerely, Sun, guides the reader through a day from the sun's perspective and has been praised for its lyrical rhythm, use of perspective and hand-illustrated watercolor artwork.  He draws inspiration from cartoonist Bill Watterson, poet Shel Silverstein, and author J.R.R Tolkien.

Daniel lives in Oak Point, Texas, where he enjoys gardening for wildlife and spending time with his wife and two children.
